The way into Adventure
Many people have had such a dream, but only very few have made it come true. Franz Josef Untenberger certainly lets that dream come true for himself. For a certain period of time, he has exchanged his civic existence against an unknown, temporarily perilous future: the path into adventure. It was his yearning for independance, for freedom and the unknown, which drove the salesman to travel the whole world. It all started with hiking in the Alps and into the Blackforest, stil connected with his homeland. But then wanderlust took him down to Italy, by foot as a matter of fact, furhter down to the Afrcian savannah, at nigth ontop of Moses Hill, into the dreamworld of the Maledives, the Et-Tih-Desert in Southeast Asia, the swamps of Cuba as well as the subtropical rain forests of Indonesia, South America and other countries. This travelling has thoroughly changed his life. The monotonous existence in the westerly world of prosperity has gotten very conscious to him during this time of temporarily being off. Much more sensitive by what skills he had learned in the meeting with all these different cultures under often perilous circumstances, he intended to tell everybody about it all, in order to encourage others to maybe go similiar ways. Isn`t there an adventurer in all of us? That`s how this book emerged. It describes events, experiences and emotions after all, which Franz Josef Untenberger hat made in his global journey. Loneliness, fear and boredom were not the only negative feelings, which he managed to overcome successfully hon his path through wilderness. And maybe with this book the author can encourage some individuals to step into his footprints.
